The golden mean, a ratio divine,
That shapes the forms of nature and of art,
From spiral shells to temples' grand design,
It shows the harmony of every part.
The geometry, a science of the mind,
That measures angles, lines and curves with skill,
From circles to the polygons we find,
It shows the beauty of the shapes we build.
But what if these two concepts were combined,
And made a perfect union of their grace?
Would not the eye and soul be more inclined,
To marvel at the wonders they embrace?
Perhaps, but then I think of you, my dear,
And find no shape or number half so fair.
