Map

A poem inspired by KT Tunstall's song "Suddenly I See". Here is what I came up with:

Her face is a map of the world
A canvas of colours and curves
She paints with her smile and her eyes
A picture of beauty and grace

She travels the globe with her heart
A compass of passion and dreams
She learns from the people and places
A lesson of courage and faith

She shines like a star in the sky
A beacon of hope and of light
She inspires the ones who admire
A vision of wonder and might

She knows what she wants and she does
A leader of action and change
She challenges the status quo
A rebel of spirit and flame

Her face is a map of the world
A masterpiece of art and soul
She makes me feel alive and free
A gift of love and joy to me
