The harvest moon is full and bright tonight,
It casts a golden glow upon the land.
It seems to offer hope and peace and light,
A gentle touch from nature's loving hand.

But underneath this tranquil scene, there lies
A hidden truth that we cannot ignore.
The earth is warming at an alarming rate,
And we are the ones who are to blame.

We burn the fossil fuels, we cut the trees,
We pollute the air, we waste the water.
We disregard the balance of the earth,
And we endanger all its living creatures.

The harvest moon is beautiful, but sad,
It reminds us of what we have, and what we could lose.
