Old Peace

A Peace Rose in May
A peace rose in May
With a single bloom in sight
A relic of the past
A witness of the fight

It has seen the wars and tears
The pain and sorrow of mankind
It has offered hope and grace
The beauty and the light

It has lived through many seasons
The frost and drought and storm
It has endured the trials and tests
The challenges and the harm

But still it stands in majesty
With a fragrance sweet and pure
A peace rose in May
With a message to endure

A fragrance sweet and pure

  1. Difficult to say is that able to wish and have humans might be practice quitting to possess or command. We are all honored with love, freedom and joy. This poem inspire me.
