On the globe there sits a cat,
Surveying all the world like that,
Purring softly as it dreams,
Of places far beyond our streams.
Perched upon the dolls house high,
A jackdaw caws into the sky,
Flapping wings of black and blue,
A regal bird with much to do.
The cat and bird, they seem so still,
Yet in their minds they roam at will,
To distant lands and unknown places,
Where they can wear new faces.
So let us learn from these two friends,
To seek adventure without end,
To explore the world, and use our wings,
And dream of all that life can bring.
