Car

The little Morris Minor's charm Still takes us for a ride, With every creak and groan it makes, We feel a sense of pride.

Though its seats are worn and frayed, And the engine's not so strong, It always gets us where we need, No matter how far along.

The steering wheel is always loose, The brakes can be a bit iffy, But the joy we feel when we're inside, Is more than just a little nifty.

For every time we're on the road, In our trusty Morris Minor, We know we're in for an adventure, And that makes the ride finer.

So though it's old and showing age, And it may not be so grand, Our Morris Minor will always be, The best car in the land.

    • Ah! you reminded me of my daughter sitting in mine, eyes just about reaching the window… no key, pull a knob to start and a yellow smiley sticker on the dashboard 🙂
