Who is your favourite author and why?

Dame Iris Murdoch.

I’ve just finished listening to her Booker prize winning novel, The Sea, The Sea after watching a film about her life.

I really enjoyed the film… the novel even more. It has fascinating characters with wonderfully evocative descriptions of the backdrop scenery of the sea.

I’ve started reading her biography and look forward to reading more of her novels and contributions to modern philosoohy.
