Bright feathers

A gentle wren, with feathers so bright
Sings a song of spring, with all its might
As winter fades, and snowdrops too
The wren's sweet song, rings clear and true

The sun shines bright, on the new green leaves
And the wren's song, brings joy to all who believe
In the magic of spring, and the promise of new life
The wren's sweet song, cuts through the strife

So let us all, take heart and sing
With the wren, as it welcomes in the spring
