Jungle forest with colourful plants and flowers

Quantum reflections

Hadamard gate

In a garden of wonder and light,
Where the flowers bloomed with delight,
There hid a gate that gleamed with power,
A Hadamard gate for every hour.

Its metal frame was intricate and bright,
A symbol of mystery and might,
For beyond its frame lay another world,
One of magic, yet to be unfurled.

The gate was adorned with curious flowers,
Their scent bewitching, enchanting for hours,
And as the wind blew, they whispered secrets,
Of a land beyond, where the sun never sets.

The gate lay small but proud,
Defying the laws of nature, it vowed,
To lead the way to a realm unknown,
Where magic reigned, and nothing was shown.

The flowers at the gate exuded an aura,
That filled the air with a heady flora,
And as the petals unfolded in grace,
They revealed a path to a mystical space.

The Hadamard gate and the flowers,
Were a portal to untold powers,
A gateway to a land of dreams,
Where nothing was quite as it seemed.

So if you ever come across this gate,
With its flowers so alluring and great,
Step through and discover the magic inside,
For it shall never cease to fascinate and surprise.

A dream

Once upon a time in a land far away, there lived a powerful wizard named Merlin. One day, two young siblings named Jack and Lily stumbled upon a metal star object while they were exploring the forest. It was an unusual object, and they both were fascinated by it. Little did they know that it was a magical gate.

Merlin, who knew the star's true purpose, came across the children and asked them what they had found. They showed him the metal star, and Merlin immediately recognized it as a Hadamard gate. The siblings had perplexed looks on their faces, not understanding what was meant by "Hadamard gate."

Merlin picked up a red, a blue, and a yellow flower from the ground, demonstrating to the children what it meant. "To explain what the Hadamard gate is, I'll give you an example," he said. He held up the red flower and said, "If this flower were to enter the Hadamard gate, it would become half red and half blue." He set up the blue flower and said, "If this flower were to enter the Hadamard gate, it would become half blue and half yellow." Finally, he held up the yellow flower and said, "If this flower were to enter the Hadamard gate, it would become half red and half yellow."

The children gasped in amazement, finally understanding what Merlin meant by a Hadamard gate. "So, if we enter the metal star gate," asked Jack, "we'll be split in half and turn into two different people?"

Merlin chuckled, "No, my dear boy. You won't get split in half, but you'll step into an alternate dimension, and you'll become something very different. Something magical and beyond your imagination."

After hearing Merlin's explanation, the children were excited to step through the gate into the unknown. As they approached the gate, Merlin smiled and said, "Be brave, young ones. You're about to embark on an incredible adventure." With that, the two siblings stepped through the metal star gate and vanished into another dimension, filled with marvels and wonders that they could not have anticipated.

The Hadamard gate is also known as the Hadamard transform or Hadamard matrix.

The word "Hadamard" is named after French mathematician Jacques Hadamard (1865-1963), who made significant contributions to the field of partial differential equations, number theory, and mathematical analysis.
