Farewell to September and the Comet’s Return

What details of your life could you pay more attention to?

Transitions

O, September, fading like the twilight’s gold,
Your days of amber warmth now softly close.
The whispers of your winds grow faint and cold,
As autumn deepens where the chill wind blows.

Now October’s moonless night draws near,
A velvet sky where stars in silence gleam.
Yet there, a comet’s blaze, so bright, so clear,
Awakes the heavens from their tranquil dream.

Beneath its tail of silver, we behold
A fleeting wonder, ancient, rare, and bright.
It streaks through time, through stories yet untold,
And vanishes into the waiting night.

Goodbye, September’s sun, your time is past—
October calls us to the stars at last.
