Feathers of Time

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?

Yes, birds are indeed descended from dinosaurs! The scientific consensus is that birds evolved from a group of carnivorous dinosaurs called theropods during the Mesozoic Era. Fossils of more than thirty non-avian dinosaur species with preserved feathers have been found, and some small dinosaurs even had long, vaned arm and leg feathers forming wings. The iconic Archaeopteryx, discovered in Germany, is considered a transitional fossil between birds and reptiles. So, next time you see a bird, remember it’s a living dinosaur! 🦕🦖1234
