We live in a world of fire and blood
Where war and violence are the norm
Where millions suffer and die in the mud
Where human rights are trampled and torn
We see the images of pain and despair
The refugees, the wounded, the dead
We hear the cries of anguish and fear
The pleas for help, the prayers unsaid
But we also see the sparks of hope and light
The heroes, the helpers, the healers
We hear the voices of courage and might
The activists, the artists, the teachers
They are the ones who challenge the dark
Who expose the lies and demand the truth
Who inspire us to make our mark
Who create a vision of a better youth
To stand up for justice and peace
To open our hearts and our eyes
To make this madness cease...
