Ubiquitous

I write this poem with no rhyme or reason
Just words that flow from my mind to the page
I don't care about the season
Or the current fashion rage

I write this poem for myself and no one else
It's not meant to impress or persuade
I don't need anyone's approval or praise
Or worry about being paid

I write this poem because I can and I want to
It's a simple expression of my mood
I don't follow any rules or conventions
Or belong to any poetic school

I write this poem with the word ubiquitous
Because it's a word I like and it fits
It describes my poem and my attitude
And it sounds cool when I say it

This is my ubiquitous poem
It's everywhere and nowhere at the same time
It's unique and ordinary, profound and silly
It's mine and it's yours, if you want it to be
Ubiquitous
Irrespectueux – Racine
