Orchards

Fruitful farmland

In the garden of England, where the apple trees grow,
There is a sight to behold in the springtime glow.
The pink and white blossoms seem purer than snow,
And they fill the air with a sweet perfume.

The birds sing their songs in the branches above,
And the bees buzz around in a nectarous love.
The lambs frolic and play in the meadows below,
And the farmers tend their crops with care.

This is the land of peace and plenty,
Where nature and man live in harmony.
This is the land of joy and beauty,
Where every season brings a new delight.

Where the apple trees grow

Kent is a county in South East England that has been called the garden of England for hundreds of years. The origin of this title is attributed to King Henry VIII, who was so impressed by the taste of Kentish cherries that he gave the county this nickname. Kent is famous for its fruitful farmland and orchards, where apples, pears, plums, cherries, strawberries and more are grown. It is also known for its hop gardens and lavender fields, which produce ingredients for beer and perfume. Kent has a rich and diverse natural landscape, with rolling green hills, spectacular coastline views, and iconic white cliffs of Dover. It is a place of peace, beauty and harmony, where nature and man live together.
