Coffee wakes me up,
Cardamom tea,
Soothes, my soul!
Fresh lemon in water cleanses.
Hot chocolate for after supper,
Yay, cuppa!
Bags of flour, wholemeal, white,
Yeast sachets and dried fruit,
Oh, my apetite!
Bag of salt and peppercorns too,
Tins of beans, baked and kidney,
Woo hoo!
Mushy peas and chopped tomatoes, Dried allspice, and oregano,
Oh, what a flow!
Tomato puree and soya milk,
Yeast extract and peanut butter,
Oh, and tofu silk?
Honey, olive spread and vegetable oil,
Pasta penne and brown rice,
Oh, how nice!
Red lentils and frozen peas,
Frozen chips and white potatoes,
Oh, yes please!
Onions, carrots, parsnips, garlic,
Some fresh leafy greens,
Oh, but no, nuts!
Apples, bananas and clementines,
Berries, pepper and cucumber.
Oh, what a list!
