Waves

A bed sit in a seaside town doth hold A special place within the hearts of some, Who seek the peace that comes from waves untold, And views of ocean's grace, a constant hum.

Its walls, though thin, embrace a tiny space That shelters dreams and memories untold, Its simple charms, a quaint and modest grace, Its beauty rooted in the heart's pure gold.

And though its roofs may leak, its floors may creak, Its windows rattle in the salty breeze, The bed sit by the sea doth comfort speak, Its presence felt within the soul's release.

So let us hold this treasure, dear and bright, A bed sit in a seaside town tonight.
