Where is the best place to watch the sunset near you?
I live on the brow of a South West facing hill overlooking a wide, tree filled valley so am treated to many spectacular sunsets only a few steps away. Endlessly variable weather brought by Atlantic storms and a wavering Jet Stream with air masses from three different main directions contributed to all kinds of cloud formations and sky colours.
I often nip out and take a sunset picture and consistent with the other images I’ve used for this challenge I fed one to the Ai app to see what the Stable Diffusion algorithm made of it.
This was the original photo, taken at the tail end of one of those Atlantic storms. It’s only low resolution, taken on a phone with protective plastic over the lens, but nevertheless to my eye captures some of the colour and drama of the atmosphere at the time.

To end bloganuary with a sunset is fitting indeed. I’ve enjoyed the experience and reading everyone’s posts who I’ve followed. I’ve learned a few things about myself (particularly not to procrastinate and just get on with things) and other peoples points of view have fascinated, intrigued and reminded me to be grateful for my circumstances.
Thanks to all who took the time to read what I wrote, respond with likes and feedback, and most of all well done to so many of you who kept up with the challenge and shared your posts.
